Godavaris Mahavidyalaya has
now become an adult by completing forty five years of its busy
life. It has sustained and developed through the various
upheavals on its way which are natural on part of any
institution to face while growing. Maturity brings stability

institution had its beginning long |

back on 26th July 1963.
Though the real beginning may be traced back to the year 1930,
when Godavaris Vidyapitha was founded to pay respect to Pandit
Godavaris, the great soul of the soil. The founding fathers of
the institution had a great desire to impart education on the
noble ideals of the ancient system even if it is natural that
we are imparting education by following the modern spiritual
development of the youth. |
