Pass Courses
Compulsory subjects : All four subjects mentioned here in.

Pass Courses
Compulsory subjects : All four subjects mentioned above.
Pass subject : Any one of the subject mentioned under Pass except English.
Elective Subjects : Any two subjects under Elective, other than allied Pass subject with stipulation furnished hereafter**.

Honours courses
Compulsory subjects : All four subjects mentioned above.
Honours Subject : Any one of the subject mentioned under Honours.
Elective Subjects : Any two subjects under Elective, Other than allied Honours subject with stipulation furnished hereafter.**

**Combination Restrictions
Pass/Honours : Elective Students are restricted to opt Elective subjects with allied Pass/ Honours

subject as follows

iii. Landmarks in Indian History with History
iv. Psychology with Psychology
v. Mathematics with Mathematics
vi. Philosophy with Philosophy
vii. Sanskrit with Sanskrit
viii. Communicative/Functional English with English

N.B. : Proper care should be taken to specify the choice of subjects in order of preference in the application form for selection of Honours.No further application shall be invited/entertained.

Note : Compulsory subject ( where applicable), pass subject and elective subjects allowed shall be notified at the time of notification of Hons. selection). Change of Honours subject (before and after the selection ) shall not ordinarily be allowed as it also involves the change of subject combination (Pass and Elective).
 b. Any particular subject/combination of subjects shall not be allowed automatically if less than 8 students are admitted offering that particular group of subjects/subject.

Note : Restrictions
1. No teaching provision is available for M.I.L. other than Oriya. However a student can retain respective M.I.L. of his/her choice or Alt. English.
2. Teaching facility may be extended for Alt. English if minimum 24 students opt. for the same.
3. English honours students are not allowed to offer Oriya and Sanskrit as elective subject.

Selection of Honours in to Degree Course
a. After completion of TDC degree Arts/Science admission the Honours. selection will be made on the basis of merit.Applicants must specify choice of their Honours subject carefully in order of their preference in the application form.
b. Selection of honours will be governed by rules and regulation provided by Govt. from time to time. Special consideration as per G.B. resolution 1998 may be allowed as per the directive of the principal to the admission committee.
c. A student securing minimum 40% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in 4th optional in Higher Secondary examination and 40% marks in the concerned subject as applicable will be eligible for selection into honours course.
d. Names of selected students will be notified in the notice board in order of merit(subject wise) for admission into various honours subjects specifying a date line for payment of required fees failing which no claim for honours seats will be entertained.

elective and one more elective as 4th optional out of the following subjects.

2. Teaching facility may be extended for Alternate English if minimum 24 students opt. for the same.

3. English honours students are not allowed to offer Oriya and Sanskrit as elective subject.

Computer Education

Self financing computer courses are available in the college on a joint venture with M/s Computer Point for the benefit of bonafied students.

Teachings in various certificate courses and P.G.D.C.A. are imparted and the certificate shall be awarded on the basis of their results in the examination.

The application form and details of courses(Theory & Practical) including the fee structure shall be provided by the computer unit of the college on payment of requisite fees.

The above provisions are made under the instructions of Director, Higher Education, Orissa. Hence, any matter of dispute or grievance should only be brought to the notice of the Director, Higher Education through this institution. Students are to opt. for the courses on their own.

Subject/Group combination

a. The principal reserves the right to disallow any particular combination of subjects subsequently after the admission without assigning any reason.

b. Any particular subject/combination of subjects shall not be allowed automatically if less than 16 students (in case of +2 level) and 8 students (in case of +3 level) are admitted offering that particular group of subjects/subject.
